Information We Collect

Trash Tasker collects information you submit when requesting a quote or scheduling service, including your name, address, phone number, email, pickup details, photos, appointment preferences, payment status, and service messages.

For staff, contractors, drivers, sales users, and applicants, we may collect onboarding and employment-related information, including name, preferred name, mailing address, date of birth, phone number, email, emergency contacts, tax information, W-9 information, electronic signatures, identity documents, driver license images, direct deposit information, staff role, staff ID, login activity, and administrative review notes.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide quotes, schedule pickups, process payments, send confirmations and reminders, notify you when a driver is en route, provide customer support, and keep service records.

Staff onboarding information is used to create staff records, verify eligibility, process tax documents, support payroll or contractor payments, send onboarding and account setup emails, review documents, maintain business records, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and operational requirements.

Payments And Direct Deposit

Trash Tasker may use Stripe, including Stripe Connect and related Stripe services, to process payments, contractor payouts, staff direct deposit, identity verification, tax reporting, and bank account onboarding. When you enter payment, payout, bank account, direct deposit, identity, or tax information through Stripe, that information is submitted to Stripe and handled under Stripe's privacy practices in addition to this policy.

Trash Tasker does not intend to store full bank account credentials when Stripe-hosted onboarding or Stripe-provided payment forms are used. Stripe may provide us limited information such as account status, payout eligibility, verification status, last four digits, account type, payment status, payout status, and transaction identifiers so we can operate the business and support users.

Sensitive Information

Some onboarding information may be sensitive, including Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, W-9 records, bank account details, direct deposit information, electronic signatures, and driver license images. We use this information only for onboarding, payment, payout, identity, tax, compliance, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, and administrative purposes.

Text Messaging

By submitting a quote request and checking the consent box, you agree that Trash Tasker may text or email you about quotes, scheduling, payment, pickup reminders, driver updates, and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share necessary information with service providers that help us operate the business, including communication, payment, payout, identity verification, payroll, tax, hosting, storage, email, and routing tools.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are not sold or shared with third parties for their promotional or marketing purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, tax authority, court order, government request, payment processor rules, or to protect the rights, safety, property, and security of Trash Tasker, our users, staff, contractors, customers, and service providers.

Security And Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information as long as needed for service, onboarding, payroll or contractor payment, tax, legal, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and business record purposes.

Access And Updates

Staff and contractors may request updates to certain information, including contact details and direct deposit information. Some tax, payout, identity, and transaction records may need to be retained even after an update or account closure when required for compliance, accounting, or legal reasons.
